Thomas Sebastian Scott is enjoying retirement in a West Virginia mountain village when the NSA seeks his expertise in cybersecurity. First, he heads to Northern Ireland to explore his roots. A chance encounter with an Italian journalist leads to his arrest for murder when she is found dead in a Belfast hotel. Scott eventually returns to the States to join NSA’s Bluefish team headed by Rachel Sullivan. An evacuation at a nuclear power plant on the Chesapeake Bay and a curious death at another nuclear facility warrants urgent action to stop the destruction of the Northeast power grid.
